The Young Victoria
A historical romance set from 1836 by director Jean-Marc Vallée. This movie captures the turbulent early years of Queen Victoria. Emily Blunt (The Devil Wears Prada) stars as the young royal who was crowned when she was only 18. Her doomed marriage to Prince Albert (Rupert Friend) would later result in her leading her life in sombre isolation. An endearing film with gorgeous locations and excellent performances.
