Jam-packed with goodness, a smoothie makes a great breakfast, morning snack or lunch on the go. Made with yoghurt, milk and fruit, a smoothie provides a good source of protein, carbohydrates, calcium, antioxidants, vitamins and minerals.

Creamy Banana, Yoghurt and Honey Smoothie
Ingredients
1 ripe banana
2 large dessertspoons of unsweetened Greek yoghurt
¼ cup trim milk
1 teaspoon Manuka honey
5 ice cubes
Method
Add all ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth. This smoothie uses basic ingredients, yet is very delicious, thick and refreshing.

Greek yoghurt is thicker than ordinary yoghurt so it gives the smoothie a creamy texture, but with less much fat than a smoothie made with cream or ice cream. Tropical Mango Smoothie
½ can Watties mango slices
½ banana
½ cup natural unsweetened yoghurt
½ cup trim milk
Blend all ingredients together in the blender until smooth and creamy.

1 apple, peeled, cored and sliced into pieces
1/2 cup of frozen blueberries
½ cup berry yoghurt
½ cup apple juice
1 teaspoon honey
