This month we have found a load of super cute goodies - from gorgie t-shirts, dresses and even stationery! Nadia, campaign managerChiffon Printed Tunic, $49.99 from Farmers I had been admiring Famers’ new spring range on their website for a few days, and then one lunch I finally caved to temptation and actually went into the store. Though I went in for something else, I came out with this little beauty, and at only $49.99 I didn’t feel too bad. I can’t wait to wear it now with a black slip and leggings, and then in summer I will dare to bare the legs (great trans-seasonal buy). There were lots more things I liked too but, they will need to wait until next pay day! Shannon, FashionFlossie channel manager Vans Core Classics Slip Ons, $69.99 from Royal TI love my towering heels, but I’m also huge fan of the tried and trusted flat and comfy types. Yeah I know, it’s not very ‘high fashion’ of me, but that’s the way I am. These cute Vans are the classic style that started the Vans phenomenon, and are consequently a shoe with long-lasting style. I’ve long admired these checkerboard beauties and this month finally welcomed a pair into my overcrowded shoe storage unit. As far as style and comfort are concerned these are absolute winners. Funny thing is, a guy friend of mine has the ‘boy’ version which is identical. He hasn’t seen mine yet – I wonder what he’ll think? I adore the cute nautical print and ‘Bon Voyage’ script on this t-shirt from Wellington designer Papercup. I think it would be absolutely perfect for slipping on before you head off for a summer holiday at the seaside. I plan on wearing it with my navy and white striped skirt. This tee is also on sale at the moment so it’s a really great deal – the shirts are great quality. Bring on summer! Ramarea, nzgirl and SocialFlossie channel manager Floral Dome Studs AU$7.99, from Sportsgirl My fav thing about Australia (apart from the wicked weather of course) has to be Sportsgirl. I went to Sydney this month, though (sadly) the main purpose was to have a relaxing holiday – not shop up a storm. However, I did manage to squeeze in a trip to Sportsgirl (OK, several!), and every time I found some cute buys at even cuter prices. I found myself a new wallet, headband and a few pairs of earrings, including these cute floral printed studs – they reminded me of pretty teacups, I just couldn’t resist! And, they were only AU$7.99 – bargain! Angela, support managerI had a huge month of birthdays so set out on a shopping spree to the Smiggle shop in Newmarket. I LOVE stationery, and found that Smiggle produce a great range of packs which contain all sorts of goodies. I bought a selection of these, and found it easy to buy a substantial present for under $20 per person. The packs contain a variety of notebooks, twisty pencils, scissors, rulers and staplers etc, all held together by a jumbo bulldog clip. All in gorgeous, vibrant colours! So you can choose a ready made pack, or mix and match your own. OK, so here’s a one to watch out for. Considering buying a new fridge for the amount of milk you need when you have kids? And not just the huge bottles, but also the different types – so far in my fridge we’ve got “toddler milk”, full fat, skim and soya – what is all this nonsense about? So I could cut down on what I buy and trim down the household choice – there are only 3 of us for God’s sake – but why should I deprive the men of the house, when I can buy these wicked containers, which not only collapse, but keep the milk for up to a week longer by squeezing the air out of it, so it doesn’t go yucky. Genius – no more globules in tea, hurrah… |
