Young and Hungry Festival Ditch the movies tonight and next week, and head out to the Young and Hungry Festival for a dose pure kiwi talent (The Basement Theatre, Auckland). The Young and Hungry Festival showcases the best up and coming young talent in theatre, with three uniquely kiwi 50 minute plays. Oyster is a funny and moving story about six youngsters trying to figure out where they belong in the world, Sit On It is hilarious peek into a very private world – the girls bathroom of a trashy nightclub (I couldn’t stop giggling - it’s all so true!) and Urban Hymns is a dramatic story of survival and greed, art and music, drugs and crime.
