After a fun party tool guaranteed to give you and your friends the most fun ever? Ramarea tests out Lips for Xbox 360 – to see how it rates…
I’m always up for a fun night – and with the super frosty weather sinking in and the rather annoying recession, my friends and I are wising up that it’s time to start getting creative when it comes to party time.
So, when the fab people at Xbox invited me to check out the Pussycat Dolls (who are big fans of Lips) live at Vector Arena, and play a bit of Lips in a VIP room before the show – I was very excited! And the night was just amaze as I had hoped - I got to sample how the game works, and for a girl who never really got the hang of video games, I loved it!
They say: "Lips delivers great tracks from a wide range of musical genres that will set the stage for evenings of fun and entertainment with friends and family."
The Lips package includes: Along with 40 handpicked songs covering a wide variety of genres - from Leona Lewis to the Jackson Five (visit the Xbox site for a full list of songs), you'll also recieve two wireless, interactive, motion-sensing microphones. Lips also comes packed with fun party games, which test both your singing skills and body movements!
Cool features: The wireless, glow in the dark, motion sensor mics. Very cool and they really help you get into the groove and feel like a super saucy pop star! Plus you can also add to your Lips collection by downloading your fav songs via the Xbox LIVE Marketplace. There's no way you'll get sick of the same old, boring songs!
Fav song: I bopped along to Ace of Base on the night, but I also like letting loose to Beyonce’s ‘Irreplaceable’. Who doesn’t want to pretend to be queen Bee?!
The $: The Lips game costs a measly $99.95, a very worth while investment when you consider how many years of fun you’ll get out this bad boy.
nzgirl verdict: So much fun! Lips lets you release your inner singing siren – whether you knew you had one or not! The words are easy to sing along too, it’s got the added element of picking up extra points with the body movements. A great way to spend a night in with friends or fam, or even better whipped out at your next party. Even the shyest peps in the room won’t be able to resist a go – or at least stop once they give it a go! Ramarea
