Jump Suit PJs
OK, so they’re not the sexiest things in the world – but give them a go before you bash ‘em! I just bought a polar fleece jumpsuit, and I have to say it is THE most comfy, warm and utterly snug thing I have worn in my entire adult life! I’m a cold-blooded nzgirl and it takes a lot to keep me warm, but my jumpsuit (pink with sheep on it) does the trick – I don't even use my electric blanket anymore! It’s the ultimate winter essential for nzgirls (though your boy might need a bit of convincing!). I grabbed mine from The Warehouse for a measly $30, but Peter Alexander also does a super cute one (pictured - and the model looks a lot less scary than I do!).
Feather Kisses by Boh Runga
Boh Runga’s birdland jewellery collection is utterly amaze – and her new Feather Kisses range is just as lust worthy! The busy LA based nzgirl (click here to check out our interview with her) has come up with three gorgeous pieces – inspired by the gorgeous Miromiro feather design, including stud earrings, a necklace and a bracelet (pictured) with the feathers crossed in a kiss motif “for luck” according to Boh. Totally romantic, femine and delicate – our entire office is in love with Boh’s latest work. Feather Kisses bracelet RRP $229.00 from www.nzmintjewelry.com/boh-runga/
Stori Telling
Need a good book for the long weekend and have already blitzed the entire Twilight series? Believe it or not, Tori Spelling’s autobiography could do just the trick. Love her or hate her, Tori lets her lips loose on all the dramas behind on the scenes of 90210, with her mother and her saucy relationships (including how she left her then-husband, for her current hubby who was also married with kids at the time!). Ironically, her life reads pretty much like a TV sitcom, and though it won’t win any literary prizes, it is a fun read and hard to put down. If you love goss, celebs and the high life – this is for you. Penguin Books, RRP $28.00
The Dream, Love Vs Money
If you love smooth and sexy R&B, you’ll love The Dream’s new album. Before you ask ‘who?’, The Dream is the man behind “Shawty is a Ten”, “Falsetto” and more recently “My Love” featuring Mariah Carey. Still not sure? Give him a google – you’ll love him! Love Vs Money is his second album and it’s made up of hot party tracks, including my fav song at the moment, “Walkin’ On the Moon” featuring Kanye, and slick, slow songs perfect for behind closed doors!
Wattie’s Frozen High Fibre Mix Love fresh veggies, but don't always manage to eat them before they go off? You'll love Wattie’s new Frozen High Fibre Mix. It's a fabulous combination of frozen vegetables with the added advantage of being high in fibre. The mix contains yummy beans, yellow and orange carrots, and also includes Edamame (soy beans) which provides high quality protein while also being a good source of dietary fibre. All you have to do is whip the pack out of the freezer and get cooking! The mix is delish in stir-frys, salads, pastas and even on is own as a side dish. Give it a go tonight! RRP$3.69 per 400g pack
