Angels and Demons
The controversy never stops with Dan Brown's second book after the Da Vinci Code now also released as a movie. Angels and Demons follows the continuing story of Harvard cryptologist Robert Langdon (played by Tom Hanks) who is a man on a mission (still) trying to uncover the brutal deaths of four cardinals in Rome. Fans of the books say this is "even better" that the Da Vinci Code! Release date: May 14
Night at the Museum 2
The follow up flick to Night at the Museum finds funny man Ben Stiller reprising his role as the unlikely security guard in the museum that comes to life at night. After the Museum of Natural History is shut down for renovations and the museum pieces are moved to the Smithsonian in Washington DC, Ben Stiller finds himself with even more trouble on his hands when the largest museum in the world suddenly comes to life all over again. If you're in need of a dose of the funnies, Night at the Museum 2 will definitely deliver. Release date: May 21
Star Trek 2
Our pick for the month of May just has to be Star Trek. We believe that unleashing your inner 'Trekkie' for one night just to go and see Karl Urban on the big screen is well worth it. Based on the earlier days of Star Trek when Captain James T. Kirk (played by Chris Pine) was only a young lad, we get to see the new and young cast of Star Trek like you've never seen them before... as seen through the eyes of 'Alias' and 'Lost' creator, J.J Abrams. Releasing in a galaxy near you: May 7
Knowing
Nicholas Cage just can't seem to break the habit of being in movies that involve cracking some secret or hidden code. In this flick Cage portrays a teacher who opens a time capsule his son picked up at his primary school. Using his awesome powers of deduction (probably carried over from his National Treasure days), he discovers some startling predictions that reveal a hidden destiny that involves him, his son and co-star Rose Byrne. Exciting stuff for action/adventure types. Release date: May 21
