This week we’ve found goodies for both you and your mum! We’ve got yummy treaties, your guaranteed ticket for fun and your chance to win a fab NZ Music Month pack…
Choc Coconut Scones
Just in time for the cold season Bakers Delight has released two new tantalising Scone varieties; Choc Coconut (my fav) and Choc Banana. Choc Coconut is melt in your mouth chocolate goodness, mixed with a sweet coconut, caramel and cinnamon mix. Spoil your mum with some of these scrumptious scones this Mother’s Day, and if you actually take her down to your local Bakers Delight store on the day (May 10), Bakers Delight will treat her to a free scone! Scones are $2.20 each, $7.70 for a four pack combo or $12 as a six-scone combo.
Robert Pattinson
Since the release of Twilight on DVD (which is smashing records left right and center!) nearly every girl I know has rushed out and watched it over and over again (I watched it three times in 24 hours!). And on top of that, nearly every girl I know has also fallen in love with Edward Cullen and wants a vampire boyfriend of her very own. So, without a doubt, Robert Pattinson deserves a spot in this week's Hot Five. He’s ridiculously cool, mysterious and undeniably hot! Can’t wait for New Moon, the next film in the Twilight saga to come out later this year – check out the uber hot promo poster we found… HOT!
Lips on Xbox 360
The countdown is on – in just over a week the Pussycat Dolls will perform at Vector Arena! How am I gearing myself up? I’ve been releasing my inner Doll with Xbox 360’s Lips. It’s the first music party game that offers wireless motion-sensitive microphones and the ability to sing from your own music collection (yes, that means lots and lots of the PCD!). It’s the most fun you can have without actually being a superstar diva yourself, and the singing game also features tracks from RiRi, Duffy and Destiny’s Child (good, solid classics!).Lips is available on Xbox 360 now.
