Ever wished you had an extra pair of hands for the day? The nzgirl team spill what they’d do if they won their very own personal assistant, stylist, handyman or personal trainer and share how you can actually win one...

If I had a helper for the day… Oooo…where to start! Firstly I would sleep in and they would get up a little earlier to prepare my breakfast and pack my lunch for the day. I would then get up to eat and shower, while they would make my bed and clean my room. They would clean the house, print my holiday photos, food shop and prepare dinner. Wow that made me sound awful but it is those basic things I never have time for. Also if I’m allowed…cleaning my car, doing those jobs at work I never get around to, massaging my feet and doing my nails. And just so you know, I would be really nice to them.

If I had a helper for the day… I would probably work them into the ground! Just kidding – though there are a few bits and pieces they could help me with. Namely grocery shopping – I never get around to it! They could go through my pantry, fridge and freezer, and figure out what I actually need and then go and buy it all for me. While they're at it, they could clean out the entire kitchen and make me an amazing dinner, and some yummy lunches for the rest of the week. Awesome!

If I had a helper for the day… I would get them to do all the things I don’t get time to do in a day. Starting with making a delicious, healthy breakfast in the morning, doing coffee runs, answering my emails (I’d dictate of course), doing my laundry, making dinner etc. Plus, I’d get them to give me a back/shoulder massage each afternoon to release the knots of stress! Ah bliss!

If I had a helper for the day… Not know where to start! I have a growing “weekend list” of ‘things that need doing/buying/fixing/tidying” etc, except with all of this gorgeous weather this summer, the list has been left by the wayside. I would LOVE someone to sort my wardrobe, get my jewellery fixed, take my mending pile to Megs, book my dentist appointment, purchase my travel insurance – so that this weekend I can ignore those tasks, without that nagging feeling on Sunday night! Please?
Anya, Fashion and Beauty Manager
If I had a helper for the day… Everyone who knows me knows I have an impressively large wardrobe, and because my impressively large wardrobe lives in a small space it would be handy to have my assistant organise it for me. I’m thinking dresses by colour, heels by height and belts organised by type of material. Scarves would all be folded down and packed away with tissue separating each one, my shoe boxes would have a photo of the shoes they contain on the outside, and I have never found a good way to store my selection of hats. Then I’d come home and literally cry with joy, because who has time to do that all themselves!
