The Best Websites to Find Love

Online dating is no longer considered taboo or bizarre – in fact, its popularity has increased hugely over the last few years.

With so many success stories it’s not hard to see why. With so many people finding love over the internet, who is to say that you won’t too? If you are itching to give it a try, then check out our top five sites to find luuurve…

This site is run by the same people who produced Trade Me, so it’s got to be good! It is entirely New Zealand based, private, confidential, anonymous and safe. It’s a great place to start if you haven’t used dating sites before, or you are new to the Internet.

This site is clean, fresh and free from any annoying pop-ups that are sometimes associated with the ‘dodgier’ dating sites. It asks you to complete a personality test so that you can be matched with people of similar interests. Plus it’s got a cute ‘Lovestories’ section for you to gush over. It does have some associated costs, but there is a free trial so if it is not for you then you don’t have to pay a cent.

This dating site is probably for the more experienced online dating people out there. It prides itself on being ‘as is’ which means once you post a profile there, everybody has free access to it and may contact you directly. It’s no nonsense and easy to access but it comes with the risk of unwanted people seeing your contact details!

This dating site does all it can to avoid people posting ‘fake’ profiles online or fake pictures. Its kiwi owned and operated and it is also good when it comes to privacy. It has message boards and forums as well.

If internet dating just isn’t your thing, then you may like this site – it is the ultimate singles directory. It lists all sorts of events around the country, from dances to dinners, that are perfect for single men and women looking for love.
