Boost Your Confidence

We all have those days where we feel like crap, from a bad hair day to relationship dramas, sometimes we can feel like it will never end. The trick is to not let it affect your confidence. 

We are giving you our top five tips to boost your confidence this New Year so you can start 09 off the right way…
 
1: Banish those negative thoughts!
Positive thinking and affirmations can improve self confidence, the more you think positively and affirm yourself the more you actually start to believe it. It is a commonly used method in self-help books and it is known to boost one’s attitude and promote self growth.
 
2: Act as if…
Also called 'faking it 'till you make it', is much like above. The catchphrase means to fake confidence, so that when
that confidence produces success, it ends up creating real confidence. Go figure!
 
3: Say YES…
Get out there and try new things, don’t be afraid to say yes to things that intimidate you. The more your put yourself out there, the bigger the rewards and the more confidence you will have in the long run.
 
4: Set some goals…
Goal setting is a common tool used to get you thinking about your ideal future. The more you get into the habit of setting and achieving goals the more motivation it brings and you will soon find your self-confidence improve dramatically.
 
5: Don’t sweat the small stuff…
There a lot of books out there based squarely on this concept, so there must be some reason behind it. There is no point in worrying about minute details, life is too short and there definitely are bigger problems out there.
 
Instead of focusing on what’s wrong with your life or your body, try and focus on what’s good. Use the time and energy that you might have spent worrying to do something to help others. Sometimes reaching out to other people can help you feel better and in turn more confident.
