It was one of the first images we had of her return, featuring an amazingly hard bodied Brit, back to her great self! And whilst the outfit is not one I’d replicate on the streets of Wellington, the elements of it are right on the money. Specifically, the shiny tights which are going to continue to be a big trend for next winter. Pair with something sheer to play with the textures of the garments, and make it casual with a great flat – it’s an easy way to create a show stopping outfit.
I love this side of Brit, the older more put together side of her personality. And she shows you can definitely cover up and still be sexy! The base of making this work comes down to pairing a fitted bottom half with a more relaxed top half, creating an hourglass figure and showing off your best assets whilst remaining balanced. A good base for this is the ever present high waist skirt.
Natural tones give Britney’s face a flawless finish. Start by evening skin tone with a great quality tinted moisturiser. Then using a buffing motion apply your mineral foundation. Define eyes in shades of taupes and caramels, which allow you to add depth and drama but in a casual and natural way. Lining the eyes also makes them pop, but try the smudgy, softer line of powder eyeshadow. A double coat of mascara before a swipe of nude toned lipstick is the perfect finish.
