If there is one thing that every girl is great at, it’s embarrassing ourselves. Somehow, at some point we all manage to put our foot in it… big time.

You’ll be happy to know that celebrities are just as bad.  They too make stupid mistakes, except unlike us, millions of people end up laughing at them instead of just a few friends.  In fact, read below and you will see that your little stumble down the stairs today at work, or that txt you sent to the wrong person, doesn’t compare at all to these six celebs – the six most embarrassing celebrities in tinseltown.

Tom Cruise – Hollywood Hunk to Resident Looney
Where the heck did Scientology come from?  All of a sudden Tom went from being a huge star to a huge psychopath. Katie Holmes is no longer hailed as his wife but as his ‘hostage’ instead.  And what was with the Oprah couch jumping? The poor guy has lost any credibility and now we really can’t look past that pearly white smile.

Everyone’s still talking about Paris Hilton’s sex tape
She wanted fame and she sure did get it. Unfortunately, ever since her amateur sex video with ex boyfriend Rick Salomon got leaked onto the Internet, people have failed to take her seriously. Oh, and I suppose the fact she continues to embarrass herself on a regular basis doesn’t really help her situation!

Mel Gibson Busted!
Getting caught driving drunk when you are an actor of Mel’s calibre is just down right embarrassing! Especially considering how public he is about his religious faith. This one happened in 2006 but poor Mel is never going to be able to live it down…

Poor Brits. She used to have everything going for her – famous at sixteen, loved by many, the world’s most well-known virgin.  It all went downhill pretty quickly after her split from Justin, and she’s definitely had a few embarrassing moments in her time (from nip slips to shaving her head, it hasn’t been a stunning past few years).

However, what ices the cake is the website www.divorcekevin.com becoming a reality. Imagine having that many people against your husband! In fact, imagine having Kevin Federline as your husband! Ahh!

One look at Amy Winehouse and I feel embarrassed for her!  Obviously she is oblivious to 99% of the things going on around her (so perhaps she isn’t even that shamed after all), but I definitely feel the shame seeing the tragic pics of her turning up completely wasted (again!) at various hotspots around Hollywood. Do something about it girl!

Janet "it was a wardrobe malfunction" Jackson
Who could forget Janet Jackson's expose at a 2004 Super Bowl game in the US? Her duet partner, JT gave new meaning to his lyrics, "gonna have you naked by the end of this song' when he reached across Janet's costume and yanked off her top, and showcased her boob to the world! Unintentional.... yeah right! Planning something then trying to pass it off as a mistake, shame on your undies Janet!
