Kick Exercise Excuses to the Curb!

Want to get in shape for summer? Ditch those exercsie excuses now! We've found five of the most common excuses and have come up with ways for you to kick them straight to the curb. You'll be lean, tone and fit in no time!

I don’t have enough time
Get up earlier, stay up later. Another way to make more time is by making a schedule of your day, this way you can organise your time better and prioritise your daily tasks.
 
I can’t afford a gym
Who said anything about a gym? Running and walking won’t cost you a cent! However, if you are keen on signing up to the gym, most will have specials, such as weekly payment deals or workout programs. So call around and find the one best suited to you.

If you cut down on just $18 of your groceries a week you’ll easily be able to afford to go to the gym. It may mean less snickers bars or gummi lollies at the supermarket but you’ll be thanking yourself for it in the long run.
 
I’m too tired
Well the irony of this is that exercises boots your energy levels, so by doing exercise you will keep yourself active and able to fulfil all your daily tasks. When you feel like just curling in front of the TV and having a nap, take a walk instead, it will wake you up and leave you feeling energized.
 
Exercise is boring
C’mon! It’s up to you what type of exercise you do, if you find running or gym exercises boring then try sport! Or if you want to try something new, try ice-skating or surfing. There is an
exercise out there for everyone; it’s just your job to find your
favourite and stick to it!
 
It’s too embarrassing!
If you find yourself going a bright shade of red each time you attempt to exercise grab some friends! You will feel much more comfortable exercising with others and you’ll be distracted by your friends that you won’t even think about how you look or feel. Also, if you feel more comfortable exercising around woman try a gym like Contours.
