 Ever wanted to make like Hillary Swank in P.S. I Love You and troddle off to Ireland for a romantic, country escape? This week we recieved a postcard from nzgirl Sylvia who did just that!
From partying it up in Dublin, to kissing the infamous Blarney Stone, she's got some great stories to tell...
Dear nzgirl,
I'm sending you this postcard from... Ireland
My first thought when I stepped off the plane was...
I'm alone in a country I've never been to before! Eek!
My craziest night was...In Dublin, with my friend Rachel who I had met in a backpackers. We danced, drunk, spent all our money, met a zillion people and stayed up all night! Dublin has an amazing partying scene. How can you not get rowdy when there's traditional Irish music playing and Guinness on tap?! 
The coolest thing I saw was...
Some friends came over from London and we went on a good old fashioned road trip over the Irish countryside. The scenery was absolutely beautiful, the cliffs of Moher in particular are really mind blowing, and after kissing the Blarney Stone I am destined to have good luck forever!  It's so different from home because...There is a history behind Ireland and its culture which is fascinating and completely different from ours in NZ. The location of Ireland is also great because the rest of Europe is literally on your doorstep! We went for mini holidays to London, Rome and Prague from Ireland, the flights are incredibly cheap! Then there are all the little things… Christmas is in the winter, no one cares about P.D.A (or knows what it is for that matter) and people go to the pub at 10 am! I'd like to come back next time and... Explore more of Northern Ireland
I'd recommend this place to you... Because the Irish are such funny, rowdy, adventurous people who make you feel incredibly welcome! Dublin and the bigger cities are have such awesome party scenes, you will come home with 101 hilarious stories to tell, guaranteed!
