And When Did You Last See Your Father? Based on the best-selling memoir by Blake Morrison, this flick is filled with British humor. It tells the story of a parent and a child; a father and son and their tumultuous relationship through a mix of present day scenes and flash backs. The film explores the idea that you can know someone for your entire life, and still not really know them at all. Starring Colin Firth this is a great flick to get your mind ticking over and evaluating your own family relationships! Release date: November 13
Caramel Think Beautyshop – but based in Beirut. This film follows five women who meet regularly in a local beauty salon. It’s a colourful, gorgeous flick which delves into the lives of several generations of women, as they gossip and confide with one and other. Each women has her own predicament; Layale loves Rabih, but Rabih is married. Nisrine is Muslim and her upcoming marriage poses a problem – she is no longer a virgin. Rima is tormented by lesbian feelings, Jamale is refusing to grow old and Rose has sacrificed her life to take care of her elderly sister. A great chick flick. Release date: November 13
Mirrors
If you’re after a scary movie to watch with your man, this is it! Starring Kiefer Sutherland Mirrors is based around a shopping mall security guard who becomes wrapped up in a mystery involving a particular department store’s mirrors, which seem to bring the worst in people. Eksh! Great for a date night.

Body of Lies
With a stellar all star cast including Leonardo DiCaprio and Russell Crowe, this is an action thriller flick that both you and your man will love. Russell plays Ed Hoffman, a manipulative CIA boss who teams up with operative Roger Ferris (Leo) to trap a dangerous Al Qaeda leader by planting a false rumour that the bomber is in cahoots with the Americans.

Children of the Silk Road
This gorgeous film tells the story of a young Englishman, George Hogg who came to lead 60 orphaned boys on an extraordinary journey of almost a thousand miles across the snow-bound Liu Pan Shan Mountains to safety on the edge of the Mongolian desert.
