When I was a teenager (in the 80's) it was very cool to wear brightly coloured ripped clothes, stripes and polka dots. All together. Thats right - the age that taste forgot is back with avengence.
So when Hey Sister! sent me some Sinergy camis, bras and breifs to look at, I had a flashback. Then I decided to visit the op shop, get out the scissors and wear the underwear as outerwear. If you have a bit of imagination you can revamp your wardrobe for under $20!
Look One - Punk meets 2002
Step One Visit your local op shop and find a t shirt that fits you in a colour (bright) that you like. I chose yellow, and it already had a cool logo on it, a bonus.
Step Two: Cut the sleeves off the tee, and half of the neck ribbing. Cut the bottom of the tee quite short, so you can see the buttom of the cami. Cut three slits in the front of the t-shirt and re-fasten with large nappy pins.
Step Three Raid your mums rags and sew bits of material on each shoulder and around a couple of the slits.
Step Four Write something in vivid on the pocket space.
Step Five Put your Hey Sister! bra, breif and cami on underneath. Make sure it shows through. Team with a studded bracelet or dog collar necklace.
